The Kevin B. Kunz Award

 

The Kevin B. Kunz Award was created to honor Dr. Kunz for his outstanding achievements in academic addiction medicine. This award recognizes an ACAAM member who has made significant contributions to academic addiction medicine through medical education, clinical care, research, policy, leadership, or service to the field.

Award Eligibility, Selection Process, & Recognition

  • Nominee must be a current ACAAM member.
  • Nomination Requirements – Complete the nomination form and submit a formal nomination letter describing the nominee's most significant contributions to academic addiction medicine and the impact of those contributions, along with a current copy of the nominee's curriculum vitae.
  • The Awards Committee will consider all nominations and present a recommended recipient to the Board of Directors for approval.
  • The award recipient will receive a personalized award and be invited to provide recorded acceptance remarks during the Annual Addiction Medicine Fellow Virtual Graduation & ACAAM Awards Recognition Event.
